LENDING OF EQUIPMENT

All issued equipment is the sole property of the Cleveland Heights Tigers Youth Football Association. Equipment will be issued to each participant on an individual basis. As a parent of a participant in the organization, you agree to assume full financial responsibility for any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment and uniforms. All issued equipment and uniforms must be returned in order to receive a trophy at the annual banquet. Equipment that is not turned in by the end of the season will be billed to you at the retail cost of replacement. Per league By-laws, participants who leave an organization may not be eligible to play for another team without being released from their prior team. Participants who have outstanding bills or unreturned equipment/uniforms will not be released. Your child will not be released from the Tigers Organization until all equipment is turned in or paid for.

Participants are to keep up with their equipment at all times. Equipment, especially helmets, should never be left lying around unattended. Unsecured equipment will be confiscated for 1 practice period, and returned thereafter. Please impress upon your children to keep track of their equipment at all times.

Issued equipment is to be worn only during practices, games, or en route to and from such events. Participants are not allowed under any circumstances to wear their equipment for pick-up games or anywhere else outside of practice. Moreover, it is forbidden for participants to engage in contact drills outside of practice or partake in full contact pick-up games while wearing their issued equipment. If any participant violates this policy, they will be suspended for 1 week and their equipment will be confiscated for that time period. If these offenses are repeated, the participant will lose their equipment permanently and will be dropped from the program. This policy is for the protection of our participants. It is the responsibility of parents to enforce this rule at home.
